Glänz
polish
Cream polish resists salt water. As a
polish/cleaner it removes heavier oxidation, which is very
common to fiberglass boats, without harmful
abrasives, as it leaves a durable shine. For medium
oxidation, use Heller
Glänz
carnuba
wax . For heavy oxidation, use Heller
Glänz
Heavy Duty
marine wax .
Our clear-coat safe formula
polishes, shines and protects resulting in a
brilliant, deep wet-look shine. The latest advances
in polishing agents and high-tech marine waxes
combine to fill hairline scratches, producing
unsurpassed gloss and depth.
Carnuba wax is a resin produced by the
marine wax palm tree Copernicia Cerifera. This tree
grows in various parts of South America. However,
only the trees in the Northeastern tropical rain
forests of Brazil produce the premium quality marine
wax used by Heller
Glänz.
carnuba wax is
available in various grades of purity and clarity: #1
yellow is the top grade going downward to #2 yellow,
#3 yellow, and various other commercial
grades.
carnuba
wax has a very strong grain structure and is
the hardest marine wax known to man. In addition to
being incredibly durable, carnauba dries to a deep,
natural shine (in contrast, bees marine wax, paraffin
and many synthetic marine waxes tend to cloud and
occlude). Carnuba wax is
produced by the leaves of the tropical carnauba tree
as protection from the incredibly harsh conditions of
the tropical rain forest - intense heat, harsh
equatorial sun and constant moisture and
humidity.
Any surface
coated with carnuba wax will be similarly
protected.
Aside from automotive and
marine appearance products carnuba wax is used as a
finish coating on a wide variety of items including:
fine furniture, tobacco pipes and produce (apples,
pears, etc. are sprayed with carnauba to achieve
their polished look). It is a major ingredient in
lipstick and other cosmetics. Before the advent of
vinyl it was used extensively in producing phonograph
records. carnuba wax is so pure it is routinely used
to coat pills in the pharmaceutical
industry.
Your vehicle's paint is under constant attack by
the sun's UV rays, industrial fallout and acid
rain. Left unprotected your car's paint will suffer
irreversible damage.
Car polishes do not provide the long term
protection necessary to guard against this type of
damage. Most car polishes are made from inexpensive
carnuba polishes and we all know what happens when
polish gets hot - it melts! Once the polish gets
hot, it becomes sticky and starts attracting and
holding dirt and pollutants next to your car's
paint. Even the car polish manufacturers suggest
you reapply their products at least once per month.
Who has time for this? Clearly polishing is not the
answer.
"I just can`t believe the way this great product
works. I have tried polishes from my first car to
the truck I have now, and it is simply the most
amazing protection EVER to be applied to a vehicle.
I used to polish my truck every month, believe it
or not, but I did. I am very fussy on how my
vehicles must look, and I have spent hundreds of
dollars on polishes, you just wouldn't believe the
money, time, and aggravation, and sweat to get a
nice wet look finish. You've done all of this with
just one product! The main beauty about this great
shine is its slippery surface. Nothing sticks to
it. I love it, and will never be without some
sitting on my shelf. Thanks!"
