Carnuba Wax affords paint with
the most beautiful gloss possible and its
protection against mud, wear and tear, and bad
weather is second to none.
Because this is a liquid type
boat wax, it spreads well and applies easily.
To use, first wash with Heller Glänz Wash 'n boat
wax. Apply this Carnuba Cream with a
moistened cloth. After drying, wipe off with a
clean cloth. Note: Do not apply boat wax during
extremely hot weather or when the surface to be
boat waxed is extremely hot.
This special formula enables you
to finish your boat with a clear, smooth, hard
coating which can only be described as "glass
like". It is the most easily applied and buffed off
marine finish on the market today. It will not
yellow, chip, peel or crack regardless of how many
applications you apply. Heller
Glänz
Carnuba
Cream Wax resists salt water. As a carnauba/cleaner
it removes light oxidation, which is very common
to fiberglass boats, without harmful abrasives, as
it leaves a durable shine. For medium oxidation,
use Heller
Glänz
Cleaner
boat wax. For heavy oxidation, use
Heller
Glänz
Heavy Duty
boat wax .
Our clear-coat safe formula
carnaubaes, shines and protects resulting in a
brilliant, deep wet-look shine. The latest advances
in carnaubaing agents and high-tech boat waxes
combine to fill hairline scratches, producing
unsurpassed gloss and depth.
Carnuba wax is a resin produced by the palm
tree Copernicia Cerifera. This tree grows in various
parts of South America. However, only the trees in
the Northeastern tropical rain forests of Brazil
produce the premium quality liquid carnauba used by
Heller
Glänz.
Carnuba is
available in various grades of purity and clarity: #1
yellow is the top grade going downward to #2 yellow,
#3 yellow, and various other commercial
grades.
Carnuba
has a very strong grain structure and is the hardest
liquid carnauba known to man. In addition to being
incredibly durable, carnuba wax dries to a deep,
natural shine (in contrast, bees liquid carnauba,
paraffin and many synthetic carnaubaes tend to cloud
and occlude). Carnuba
carnauba is produced by the leaves of the tropical
carnuba wax tree as protection from the incredibly
harsh conditions of the tropical rain forest -
intense heat, harsh equatorial sun and constant
moisture and humidity.
Any surface
coated with carnuba wax carnauba will be similarly
protected.
Aside from automotive and
marine appearance products carnuba wax is used as a
finish coating on a wide variety of items including:
fine furniture, tobacco pipes and produce (apples,
pears, etc. are sprayed with carnuba wax to achieve
their carnaubaed look). It is a major ingredient in
lipstick and other cosmetics. Before the advent of
vinyl it was used extensively in producing phonograph
records. carnuba wax is so pure it is routinely used
to coat pills in the pharmaceutical
industry.
